Community Literacy Journal Coming to FIU English Department
In November 2017, Associate Professor Paul Feigenbaum became co-editor of the Community Literacy Journal, a peer-reviewed journal in Writing Studies. Dr. Veronica House, founder of the Conference on Community Writing, will co-edit. The Community Literacy Journal publishes scholarship, work by literacy practitioners, and collaborations between academics and community members. The journal is housed at FIU through the generous support of the English Department and the Writing and Rhetoric Program.
Open to all currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students only. Submissions will be accepted in three genres: poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. Deadline for submission is Friday 9 February at 4pm. Send manuscripts to Literary Awards, Creative Writing Program, Biscayne Bay Campus, AC1-335, North Miami, FL, 33181. You may also hand deliver. They must arrive by the deadline. No late submissions will be accepted.
