Department of English Hiring 2 Visiting Writing & Rhetoric Instructors

Florida International University, Dept. of English Two Visiting Instructors in Writing and Rhetoric:

Required: MA in Rhetoric and Composition or in a related field; evidence of success in post-secondary composition instruction.

Desired: Terminal degree; evidence of graduate coursework in Rhetoric and Composition if degree in related field. Experience in one of more of the following areas: teaching with technology, teaching English as a second language, community writing, professional/technical writing.

Responsibilities: 4/4 course load in the undergraduate writing program, including program service responsibilities. Nine-month appointment, beginning Fall 2010. Renewable contingent upon budget. Competitive salary and benefits.
