- BA degree in Linguistics or related field
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.0
- Two detailed letters of reference on university letterhead from undergraduate/graduate professors
- Statement of purpose (indicate if interested in an assistantship)
- TOEFL score of 600 (non-native speakers of English).
The application form can be downloaded directly from the Graduate Admissions web page. A copy of the application and transcripts should be sent directly to the Office of Admissions. Another copy of the application should be sent with the applicant's letters of reference, statement of purpose, application, and test scores, to the director of the Linguistics Program.
The Linguistics program has admission for both Fall and Spring semester. Applicants should note the deadlines for admission are March 1 for Fall semester and October 1 for Spring semester.
