FIU STUDENT LITERARY AWARDS is accepting submissions of fiction, nonfiction and poetry. You must be enrolled in Fall AND Spring semesters to qualify. Deadline for submissions is Friday, February 24th at 4pm.

Lauren Grodstein is the author of the New York Times-bestseller, A Friend of the Family, and the Washington Post Book of the Year, The Explanation for Everything. Her new novel, Sometimes at Night, will be out in March 2017 (Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill). Her work has been translated into over a dozen languages, and her articles and essays have been included in Columbia Magazine, The New York Times, Post Road, Gourmet, and Salon. She directs the MFA program at Rutgers University.
